Can Tarot Cards Predict Future Spouse?
Future spouse tarot readings, or future lover predictions are two of the most common questions people ask tarot card readers. However, can tarot cards predict future spouse or future lover?
There are different kinds of tarot readers. Some are intuitive readers, and some are psychic readers. Each reader has their personal preferences when it comes to what types of tarot card readings they offer.
Many tarot readers do indeed offer future spouse or future love readings, and many of them also do 6 month or yearly love forecasts. I won’t lie, when I first started, I did the same. Then my thoughts about this changed completely.
For one thing, I became more of a purist and started leaning towards tarot’s traditional purpose more and more. For that matter, I stopped doing future lover readings and forecasts altogether. You can read more about it here.
I have nothing against people who offer these types of readings. Some readers are psychics as well, therefore, they might have more authority for giving these types of blind predictions. I do not consider myself a psychic. When asked, I always tell people I am more of an intuitive reader and I do not use tarot cards for future predictions, of any kind. This is different than a possible outcome or future energies of a specific situation, an existing situation.
For instance, if you are in a relationship and you want to look at the outcome of this connection, whether it will become a serious one or will it more likely end due to obstacles, tarot can give you an answer based on the current energies and struggles.
Or, if you need to make a career decision and you are not sure about which direction to go, and what the possible outcome could be for each situation, tarot can provide guidance and advice based on current energies and opportunities and/or obstacles.
These are not blind predictions. They shine a light on an existing situation, and try to analyse it.
Future lover or spouse readings are completely blind predictions. The client expects the reader to give them a when, where, how, types of answers. And even a possible physical description. This is where I draw the line.
First of all, I never use tarot cards to give physical descriptions. They are not created for that purpose, ever. I also do not use the tarot decks for blind future predictions. This is also very much against the real authentic purpose of tarot.
Again, I have nothing against people who do that, and I want to assume that they have some kind of psychic power or they are some sort of a clairvoyant and they can see things when others can’t. I am not one of those readers. I go in detail about why I do not provide blind love predictions using tarot cards here.
As individuals, we should understand that our actions create energy waves, and these waves impact other people’s energies, and therefore actions. We are eternally connected to each other. Therefore, it is not a sensible thing to give blind predictions using tarot cards, because energies change constantly. What can be accurate today, might not be accurate 6 months from now.
Also, you need to understand that the opportunities don’t fall on our laps. Meaning, if you got a prediction from someone regarding future career opportunities, and all you did was sit at home and not take any action towards making things happen, or at least create the basis for that opportunity to find you, you will get nothing.
It’s like getting a tarot reading saying you will meet your next person in three months, but all you do is sit at home and not socialize, or not go online to meet new people etc. guess what? You will not meet anyone. You get the point.
When you get a prediction reading, the Universe is telling you that the energies look preferable to meet someone new, so go out and match your vibration with that energy. That’s what it’s all about. The Prince Charming is not going to come and knock on your door. It would be great if they did, but real life is far from Cinderella.
