Are Tarot Readings Accurate?

Can a tarot reading be accurate? Or are all tarot readings fake? It depends. There are genuine tarot readers, and there are complete con artists. Like in every profession, some people give their best and be honest, and some choose the easy way out to pocket some money. It is only one side of the coin.

Another side of the coin is how you, the querent, feel or think about it. Let me explain. You want to get a tarot reading. If you are skeptical about it, you might question the accuracy of the messages delivered to you by the reader. Similarly, if you are hoping to validate what you have in your head and subconsciously are not ready to accept a message that doesn't fit the narrative, you will doubt the accuracy of the reading. No matter how accurate that reading might be.

If you are a believer with an open heart and mind, you are ready to accept whatever message the reader delivers. Tarot readings help us think, analyze, introspect, and make decisions.

Some believe tarot cards are divinatory tools for fortune-telling or predicting the future. The truth could not be any farther from that. Unfortunately, many so-called tarot readers are providing fake readings against tarot's principles.

One should never use tarot cards to make random future predictions. In this sense, readers should not use the cards to describe someone's future partner, when, where, and how the querent will meet them, or how they will look physically. In this blog post here, you can read why I never do future love readings. The same logic applies to all sorts of random future predictions.

Then what is tarot, and how can we use it correctly and wisely?

Tarot cards are divination tools that give advice and guidance. They are good to help you solve EXISTING problems in your life. For instance, if you are going through a career crisis, you can ask the cards what the best advice is to overcome this challenge. If you have two options in front of you, you can ask the cards to give you a possible outcome for each option. Keep in mind that the readings reflect the energy of the present moment.

This being said, nowadays, many fake tarot readers are floating around pretending to provide accurate readings. Most of them are using artificial intelligence and tools like ChatGPT to deliver generic, impersonal, cold, and meaningless readings. I would not even call these tarot readings, to be honest. They do nothing more than give generic descriptions of each card without any interpretation from a real tarot reader. These are the people who only care about pocketing your money. They are not honest tarot readers. They are cold-hearted liars.

Tarot is a 100% spiritual experience. Like all spiritual experiences, you can not expect a scientific fact. It is something you feel intuitively in your heart.

However, it is also true that we all have intuitive and psychic abilities. Some of us are more tuned into these powers, and some choose to dismiss them.

A good tarot reader is someone who is highly intuitive. He or she can connect with the querent's energy and provide an amazing interpretation. I will get into this topic in another blog post.

Long story short, our open minds and open hearts can give the tarot reader a pathway to connect with our energy. When that connection is right and genuine, a tarot reading can help you discover a lot of things about your situation and yourself.
